With the Mozart collection, designer Otto Tauschek returned to the days of both the rococo and classic styles, however, choosing to draw inspiration in a completely modern way. The liqueur glass stands on a rococo-style stem, yet the challis displays a relatively modest shape and only a subtle cut makes its way around the edge. When it was first created, this crystalline fusion of styles was seen as revolutionary, and it hasn’t stopped astonishing audiences to this day.

The drinkware collection 1913 combines modern shapes with traditional handcraftsmanship. Its creator, the Art Director of Moser, Jan Plecháč, drew inspiration from a 110-year-old set at our glassworks, however, he imprinted on it a distinctly contemporary form. The drinkware set 1913 is meant for rare occasions, joyous moments with loved ones, but also time reserved just for you.
Similar to the glasses from the 1913 Collection, this decanter is adorned with distinct vertical lines and a golden letter “M” on the bottom. Everything is exclusively handmade according to the tradition of our glassworks. The design style of Viennese Modernism lends the drinkware set its original, timeless appearance.

Nearly 100 years ago, designer Otto Touschek combined rococo forms with a modern impulse. In his Mozart collection, he used a simple challis with a pearl cut and an adorned stem, which reminds its users of a spinet from the days of the great composer. This drinkware set found success immediately. A few individuals who purchased the set include the Iranian Shah Mohamed Reza Pahlavi, the Moroccan sultan Muhammad V, the maharajah of Hyderabad, and the Egyptian king Fuad.
